AND THEIR HOMES IN DANGER
Simple and easy way to prevent common overseen hazard

WESTBOROUGH, MA January 5, 2004--With recent events happening like the house explosion in Pembroke, MA, you think “could I have done something to prevent this?” In that explosion, it is said that the two house cats may have inadvertently turned the propane tank’s valve, causing the propane line to be uncapped. This caused the propane to flood the first floor, so when a fan used to cool the compressor of the refrigerator was ignited, the house exploded. The litter box for the cats was located two feet from the propane tank. The homeowner was safe and was not home at the time. (Story from WCVB-TV- Boston)
Common Household Hazards:
Along with the propane tank there are many household hazards that a pet with the run of the house can get into, harming themselves and their living environment. Some examples are listed below:
Getting into the trash can = Bones = Chocking
Chewing the wires behind the TV = Wires = Electrocution
Licking products under the sink = Chemicals = Poisoning
Getting on surfaces with candles = Hot wax = Burns

About the System:
